Man United have been drawn into one of the longest transfer sagas of the summer following their desire to sign Croatian international and Inter Milan Ivan Perisic. Jose Mourinho is still on the look out for attacking option to his squad and Perisic continues to headline the transfer radar of the Old Trafford outfit.
Perisic plays typical on any of the flanks and he has been tipped to occupy the left flank of United, with his major job being to bring out the best in Romelu Lukaku by feeding him with crosses. The 28-year-old had one of his best seasons for Inter Milan last term as he scored 11 League goals and provided eight assist, a feat non of Man United wingers achieved last term.
Man United have seen bids rebuffed for Perisic and we understand that the San Siro giants have asked Man United to pay about £50million and include Anthony Martial in the deal. Man United may be edging closer to a deal for Perisic as reports according to the Mirror claims Martial has agreed to join the San Siro outfit on a loan deal in order to pave way for Perisic to join.
Mourinho has charged Anthony Martial to improve upon his play ahead of the upcoming season and the player, until yesterday, has been stellar for United in their pre-season outings. We cannot ascertain the veracity of the report but it is absolutely needless to allow Martial leave for Perisic.
