Ivan Perisic to Man United back on, agent enter talks with Club over new deal

Jose Mourinho has a knack for getting his targets sign for him but United’s proposed move for Ivan Perisic is never-ending and it has left the attacker and both Clubs frustrated.

Perisic has been on the transfer radar of Man United but Inter Milan have played blinded to all the advances of the Red Devils, with the coach of the San Siro outfit Luciano Spalletti stating that the player is still in his plans for the future.

As GFN understands, the Croatian midfielder is in the want of a move and he had reportedly agreed personal terms to join the Red Devils. However, United have failed to meet his valuation, leaving Inter Milan with no choice than to secure his future.

According to Tuttosport, via Sportwitness the agent of Perisic Fali Ramadani is set for show down talks with the principals of Inter Milan to discuss possible transfers for the player and also seek a pay rise if the player’s wish to switch the San Siro for Old Trafford is refused.’

They claim United offered to pay Perisic  €6m-per-annum in wages and Perisic will ask for an amount close to the quoted figure, as it is given that the 28-year-old wants a win-win situation – he currently has a contract with Luciano Spalletti’s men until 2020 and so, an extension at this time might not be valuable.

He has been enjoying a good pre-season campaign with Inter Milan but the transfer window is very much still open and any can still happen.
