Although Chelsea are yet to spend money for the signing of any player in the transfer market, they have been heavily involved in the sale of players as well as securing deals for players in their youth set-up.
Yet again, Chelsea have completed the signing of highly rated Dutch attacker Daishawn Redan, this report is according to the Express.
The 16-year-old joined Ajax as an 8-year old and it is said that he was constantly outshining the players in his age grade to the point that he was featured at the U-19 levels.
He has been dubbed as one of the best prospecst in the Eredivisie. Little wonder Manchester United, Manchester City and Leipzig all fought for his signature. The goal poacher favoured Stamford Bridge as his next stop, leaving Man United leaking their fingers for his signature.
Confirming the report, Redan took to Instagram and posted a picture of him, putting pen to paper with the caption: “It’s official, i have signed a contract with Chelsea”
Redan will move to the academy of Chelsea and he will join Ethan Ampadu who was confirmed as a Chelsea squad member last weekend.
The stats of Redan are quite soothing to say the least. He found the net eight times in 12 games for the Netherlands U18. Before he joined the U18s, he had previous found the net 10 times in 12 appearances at the U17 levels.
