Isco was pivotal to Les Merenguez dominance in the Champions League over the course of the last three seasons. However, he has found himself struggling for game time under  Santiago Solari, with claims by various media outlet that Chelsea are keen on signing him.

The Blues are expecting the departure of Danny Drinkwater,Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko. The aforementioned players are out of favour at the club and they have been told to leave when they want.

Chelsea are actively in the market, with the aim of signing a creative midfielder and they have been heavily linked with a move to Isco.

It was claimed that Chelsea reached an initial agreement with the representative of the player in which a £75m transfer fee agreement was reached and £250,000 weekly wages for Isco.

The representative of the Spanish midfielder has angered Chelsea after he tried to milk the club after an initial agreement. According to the Sun, Chelsea are disappointed in the action of the player’s rep and they have decided to pull the plug on the deal.

PSG are reportedly interested in signing the player also but the Blues are resigned to looking for another option.
