While Liverpool have bolstered their squad to meet the demands of the current season, Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he’s still in the market to sign quality players. However, it appears that the Reds are not neglecting the development of their youngsters.
English youngster and Liverpool Winger Sheyi Ojo has completed a medical with EFL Championship side Fulham, this is according to Sky sport.
Ojo started out plying his trade with MK Dons and he made a shocking breakthrough for the side as he was playing for their U-18 side despite being 13-years.
He eventually joined Liverpool in 2011 amid interest from Chelsea and other top European clubs. Ojo imposed himself for Liverpool at the youth level but he has struggled to impress Jurgen Klopp.
The 20-year-old winger has spent the last two seasons on loan spells at Wigan Atletic and Wolverhampton respectively but he he did not play regularly.
However, the youngster has been a subject of huge interest from Middlesbrough, Newcastle but he has a favoured a move to the Cottagers. He is sure to get regular game time under Slavisa Jakanovic.
Fulham are currently in the market for new signings as they look to bolster their squad before deadline day. The are interested in Cardiff’s Joe Bennett and Bordeaux’s Maxime Poundje.
An announcement for Ojo’s deal is imminent.
