‘I’m happy’ South-American star confirms decision on Manchester United move

Manchester United loanee Andreas Pereira has revealed that he does not want to return to the fortress of Old Trafford, this is according to report.

The versatile midfielder was convinced to put pen to paper before sealing the move to the Mestalla Stadium. He current contract runs with the Red Devils until 2019.

Reports emerged this week that the 22-year-old will be recalled following Man United’s inability to sign a player in this transfer window but the star is eager to complete the season with Los Che.

Jose Mourinho was unhappy with the player’s decision to leave in the summer, as he had impressive performances for the Red Devils during their pre-season tour.

Dubbed as the new Wayne Rooney, Pereira is highly rated by Manchester United but he has struggled to impress Jose Mourinho. Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Scott  McTominay are currently United’s midfielders and so, you can understand why the player is happy in Spain.

As reported by ESPN, he told Superdeporte

“I’m here and I want to stay. I feel good. I’m playing better and I want to win the cup with Valencia.

“I felt very good. Each game I feel better, I’m improving. I’m happy to help the team and give my best.

“This result gives us a lot of confidence and we need to work, be humble in order to continue to grow starting from keeping a clean sheet. We are all very excited about reaching the quarterfinals and we will try to reach the final.”

Man United are currently without a no.10 and they have been linked with Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil and Juventus’ Paulo Dyabala. Nonetheless, Pereira could actually be the missing piece in the puzzle for the Red Devils.

Pereira is currently succeeding on the wing at Valencia but he can as well playing the deep-lying role or even be the creative hub of the deal.
