“I’m going to United” – €25m-rated La Liga winger wanted by Liverpool confirms

Manchester manager Jose Mourinho will surely be in happy mood after hearing the report that his longtime target Lucas Vazquez has finally made up his mind to move to Old Trafford in the summer.

The Spanish international is rated as one of the best players United could bring in this summer. However, the Spaniard has seen game time too difficult to come by throughout this season under Zinedine Zidane, more importantly starting berth roles when the BBC are not injured.

According to Don Balon via Redrant, the 26-year-old has secretly revealed to his countryman and Madrid captain Sergio Ramos that he would be moving to the Old Trafford after the summer World Cup.

Mourinho has been monitoring the player’s situation for more than two transfer windows, hoping to bring him to the Theater of Dreams. However, his bids were all rejected by Florentino Perez who wasn’t ready to part way with the versatile player.

With Vazquez’ decision to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, it is certain that many suitors would want to acquire his services, considering his pace and exploits for the Los Blancos this season, especially in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, according to Daily Star last week, Liverpool manager is eyeing a possible move for the midfield maestro.

The Merseyside club will definitely try all they could to prevent him from joining the Old Trafford side in the summer so as to stand a chance of luring him to Anfield.

Vazquez is valued by transfermarkt at 25,00 Mill. €.
