Huge Injury Blow For Arsenal Ahead Of Huddersfield Game

Arsenal showed great strength going into the game against Manchester United on Wednesday.

But face a trickier challenge when they take on Huddersfield who are avoiding the relegation zone, as they are currently 17thon the EPL log.

Unai Emery looks cornered in this game. Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey have been sidelined with short-term injuries and that has socked the club real hard in their guts. However, that is not as painful as the powerful sting felt, losing defender Rob Holding.

Holding was stretchered off the field after it was later confirmed he got knocked hard by a “big” knee injury, according to the Spaniard.

Rob Holding has been a plank in the Gunners backfield, providing the support they need in the absence of Spaniard Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny.

Arsenal are still driving strong as the race for the Premier League top four spots just got even fiercer. The Gunners are steaming just behind Chelsea.  They are on levelled points with Chelsea at fifth. Only few goals separate both local rivals.

Emery could dispatch other options in that position, like he did playing Matteo Guendouzi in their recent run of fixtures.

Former Serie A defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has been tipped to replace Holding until he’s recovered fully and ready to play again.
