How Man United shot-stopper David De gea stirred dressing room disagreement -revealed

Spain international and Manchester United goalkeeper David Gea has been a subject of transfer interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid and his compatriot Isco has urged the shot stopper to make the move in the coming summer.

According to reports, Isco’s desire to see De Gea join him at the Santiago Bernabeu has not be welcomed by his teammates, stirring a bit of controversy in the dressing room of the Champions league holders.

De Gea was close to a Real Madrid move on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2015 but for a faulty fax machine that scuppered the move. He was yet linked with a move to Madrid last summer but Manchester United dismissed a possible transfer for the star.

The contract of the shot-stopper will expire in the summer of 2019 and Madrid are expected to make an offer for him at the end of this season.

Real Madrid goalie Keylor Navas has been in top form, leading Madrid to two Champions league trophies. While Isco views De Gea as the perfect man for his side, Diaro Gol reports that Isco’s desire is one that is not welcomed with majority of the dressing room of Los Blancos.

The report further stated that it would be unfair if Navas, who is currently in-form is dumped for another goalie. The players want Navas to continue in-between the sticks for them.

Navas is just 30 and as a goalkeeper, he will still be active for at least another five years.
