Arsene Wenger broke the hold that Jose Mourinho had over him in the Premier League after thumping Man United 2-0 at the Emirates but the highlight of the game was the stellar performance of Man United League debutant Axel Tuanzebe.

The Gunners ended Man United 25game unbeaten run in the Premier League and reduced the points deficits on the Premier League log between they and the Red Devils to two points.

A dominant performance from the Gunners and second half goals from Granit Xhaka and Danny Welbeck gave the three points to Arsene Wenger’s men.

Arsenal’s best player of this season and Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez was tamed throughout the game and it was Man United youngster Tuanzebe that canceled out the threats of Sanchez.

Tuanzebe was handed his first start in the Premier League by Jose Mourinho amid an injury crisis that is currently rocking his side. The 19-year-old youngster kept Sanchez at arms length while playing at the right back position.

He was quizzed after the game about how he succeeded in nullifying the threats and potency of Sanchez and he told Mutv that, per Goal.

“The manager gave me one task – to stay with him [Sanchez] and I seemed to do that quite well,” Tuanzebe, but we didn’t win, so it doesn’t count as much.

Tuanzebe’s first cameo for the Red Devils was in the FA Cup when he replaced Timothy Fosu-Mensah in the 68th minutes. He is highly rated by Jose Mourinho and it is a matter of time before we’ll know how good he is.
