‘How Antonio Conte wants us to play’ – Eden Hazard reveals Chelsea’s new tactics

Eden Hazard was in action for the Blues against Huddersfield as the West London club return to winning ways after their shock defeat to West Ham on Saturday.

The Belgian midfielder revealed to reporters the tactics used by Antonio Conte.

Hazard told reporters after the match that the coach wants them to keep moving on and off the ball. According to the Belgian midfielder, that was the tactics behind their victory against the new Premier League club Huddersfield, on Tuesday.

“No to be fair it’s good. It’s good movement. The manager wants us to move a lot. We tried to not always stay in the same position.” he concluded.

Though he wasn’t on the score sheet, but he was an influential player during the match. He constantly troubled Huddersfield defends throughout the 69 minutes he spent on the field.

Hazard, who was replaced by Michy Batshuayi in the 69th minute of the game, has scored five goals for the Blues despite the injury he suffered during the pre-season tour.

With the comfortable 3-1 win at the John Smith’s Stadium, Chelsea are on the same points with Manchester United who will be in action at home on Wednesday night against Bournemouth.

Willian, who has been heavily linked with a move to Chinese Super League, started for the first time in six Chelsea League games. The impressive Brazilian winger was on the score sheet, he also assisted Tiemoue Bakayoko and Pedro’s goal.

Chelsea were without Alvaro Morata who picked up a slight knock during training, he is set to return to training before Chelsea’s next match this weekend.
