Antonio Conte has charged the board of Chelsea to reinforce his squad in the January transfer window so that they will compete favourably with run-away League leaders Manchester City.
If reports making the rounds is anything to go by, Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could become a Chelsea player when the January transfer window comes alive.
Aubameyang has been consistently impressive for the past three seasons – he won the golden boot award for the Bundesliga last term and he has continued in the same stead this term. He’s scored 17 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions this term.
He laid bare his desire to leave Signa Iduna Park last summer but Arsenal and Real Madrid that were credited with interested for him failed to make any move. According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool are keen on deal for the 28-year-old.
However, they are not left alone in the chase of the prolific scorer. the report have claimed that Chelsea have been informed that the player is available for sale.
Chelsea are looking for a player that will not just compliment the efforts of Alvaro Morata but compete with him favourably. The desire to let go off Aubameyang stems from his indiscipline and he is currently at loggerheads with some of his team-mates.
He is currently valued at 65,00 Mill. €.
