Good news: Ousmane Dembele to Arsenal takes a massive positive twist

Former Borussia Dortmund player who broke into limelight with the German side, Ousmane Dembele could be moving out of Camp Nou after failing to establish himself as a regular starter in Valverde’s starting lineup this season, this is according to reports.

The Frenchman who joined Barca for a huge world record fee last summer, has started just four matches for the Catalans this season due to the serious thigh injury which he picked up in his debut appearance for the La Liga giants in the first half of the season.

According to Calciomercato last month, the 20-year-old attacker is being monitored by Arsenal as they hope to convince him to switch to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.

Having successfully signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Dortmund in the winter, the Gunners hope to reunite the Gabonese striker with the Frenchman at the Emirates next season.

TeamTalk reports via Don Balon that Dembele is unhappy at Barcelona and he is considering moving to Arsenal if Griezmann arrives from Atletico Madrid in the summer. Griezmann has been a longtime target for the Catalans and reports suggest he is ready to move to Camp Nou at the end of the season.

Should Dembele’s countryman switch to Barcelona, that might push the 20-year-old down the pecking order and he reportedly wants to avoid sitting on Barca’s substitute bench by pushing a move through to Arsene Wenger’s team.
