Arsenal are reportedly set to add a quality striker to their attacking department in the summer who will occupy the void created by Sanchez’s move to Old Trafford in the winter transfer window.
Arsene Wenger was one of the busiest managers during the winter transaction period as he completed his move for former United player Henrikh Mktarryan, and Borussia Dortmund’s striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang so as to provide more competition for Alexander Lacazette, Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi who have all performed below expectations throughout the season.
Despite the addition of these players, Arsenal’s performance from the right flank still leaves a lot to be desired and Wenger is willing to bring Real Madrid striker Lucas Vazquez to his team ahead of the 2018-19 season.
After being reduced to a bit-part player this season, Spanish outlet Diario Gol claimed that the Spaniard might submit a transfer request to Real Madrid hierarchy in the summer to force his way to the North London club.
The 26-year-old has only featured from the bench for the Los Blancos this season and he is reportedly seeking a move to a new club where he will be used more regularly in order to feature prominently for the Spanish national side.
Under-fire Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane prefers Marcos Asensio ahead of the former Madrid Youth player who has featured in 40 matches with seven goals so far this season.
