Good news for Arsenal ahead of Stoke City game
The recent form of Arsenal has made them an object of ridicule among pundits and fans of rival clubs but their recent resurgence in the League could see their fortune turned greatly before the season comes to wrap.
The Gunners lost their first League game, drew the second but went on a six game winning streak thereafter. Arsene Wenger’s men continued to enjoy a relatively good form until they capitulated in the second half of the season.
Currently sitting in fifth position on the Premier League table, Arsenal can still qualify for the Holy Grail of European football( the Champions League) and their recent form leaves so much to cheer about for Arsenal fans.
The Gunners travel to the bet365 Stadium to face Stoke City tomorrow. However, Arsenal will be boosted with the return of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Laurent Koscielny to the side after after aforementioned duo missed the game against the Saints.
Chamberlain suffered a hamstring injury while starring for his team against Southampton on Wednesday. According to the report, Wenger has played down the severity of the injury, claiming the player was just a tad fatigued.
Meanwhile, Koscileny who has been nursing a calf injury since Arsenal’s win over Man United has returned to full training and is in contention for a place in the game against the Potters.
The return of the players have boosted the squad. Chamberlain has been the most improved Arsenal player this season and Wenger will be hoping he’s fit ahead of our FA Cup final against Chelsea on the 27th of May.
Arsenal have played a game less and are four points adrift Liverpool in third position on the League table. A slip for the Reds and wins for us in the remainder of our games will see us secure a place in the Champions League play offs.
