Chelsea have been handed a massive boost after Eden Hazard reveals he would be a Chelsea player beyond the 2018 January transfer window, according to reports.
Real Madrid have had a dismal start to life in the La Liga and the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo has been blamed for this. Les Merenguez are yet to replace the aforementioned superstar but they have identified Hazard has his best probable replacement.
Hazard was linked with a move to Madrid in the summer and even though he has laid bare his dream to lace his boots for the Champions League Lords, he has been open about staying put at Chelsea.
He was quizzed about a possible move away from Chelsea and he said:
“I have already said a lot about my future, but I will not be changing clubs in January,” Hazard told reporters, as cited by Diario AS.
“There is no chance of me leaving West London in January.”
The playmaker will enter the final year of his contract with Chelsea. Although, nothing has been reported on the player signing a improved deal, Sarri has reiterated his desire to keep the player at Stamford Bridge.
Transfermarkt has valued Hazard 120,00 Mill. € but it is claimed that Madrid will have to pay close to double that amount to sign the star.
