Manchester United are fazed with possibility of losing some of their key players sooner as they are in the final year of their current contract.
Versatile English star Ashley Young will be out of contract at United next summer but the star reckons that he wants to end his career at the fortress of Old Trafford, suggesting that he should be offered a longer deal, this is according to report.
Young returned from a lengthy injury spell but he has found favour in the sight of Jose Mourinho. He is currently the first choice for the left back position despite being a natural right winger and it was his goal that earned for Man United the three points against Brighton last weekend.
The 32-year-old is currently on a £130,000 a week, wages and United have an option to trigger his deal by a year, claims the Daily Mirror.
Although he has not laid bare his desire to continue playing for United for the foreseeable future, the report has claimed Young does not want to leave United anytime soon and wants a long term extension.
Luke Shaw, and Ander Herrera are in similar situation to Young But the aforementioned players have been fringe players.
Man United will travel to Vicarage Road to play Watford later tonight.
