Chelsea have been reveling in the ambiance of good form this season and former Chelsea star Frank Lampard has made bare his made, claiming The Blues are on the course of the right direction under Italian tactician Antonio Conte.
The former Italy manager was appointed to man the helms of Chelsea in the April of this year but former took charge in the summer. He has been saddled with the uphill task of ensuring Chelsea finishes higher up the Premier League log than their tenth place of last season.
Conte led the Blues to winning their opening three Premier League games. However, they failed to win a top-flight game in the month of September – they were thumped by Liverpool and Arsenal, but bounced back with victories in sebsequent games against Hull City, Leicester City and Manchester United.
The blues ran rally over their former manager Jose Mourinho’s led Manchester United with goals from Pedro Rodriguez, Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante and Gary Cahill.
Lampard, 38, who now plays for New York City, was asked for his verdict on former club Chelsea, as part of New York City FC’s YouTube series
“I loved it [Chelsea’s 4-0 win]. It was great to see,” Lampard said.
“I think Chelsea are in transition. I think they’ll come through it now. I liked the energy of the team, the team work, the fast movement of the ball and the quality of the players. You sense a good feeling around the club.”
Chelsea are currently sitting in fourth position on the Premier League log but just one point adrift of League leaders Manchester City..
Chelsea will host Everton in the Premier League this weekend and they will be looking to maintain their new found winning momentum.
