Following Chelsea’s loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield game, Antonio Conte is poised to still strengthen his squad and GFN understands that the Italian tactician has been promised more signings before the window closes.’
Chelsea already have four new signings ahead of the current campaign but Conte’s effort to sign wing backs has proved abortive. The Blues have had bids for Alex Sandro thrown out by Juventus – however, latest report claims the league holders have turned their attention to Monaco’s defender Djibril Sidibe.
Conte is currently looking for a more assured option to Marcos Alonso in the left wing back position and he thinks Djibril Sidibe will be a perfect fit for his team.
Monaco have turned hunting ground for most of the Premier League teams. Even though Bernado Silva, Benjamin Mendy, and Tiemoue Bakayoko have already exited the Monaco, a chunk of their players are still heavily linked with a move to Premier League clubs.
However, Monaco’s boss Leonardo Jardim had revealed that they will listen to offers for their players and if the price is right, they’ll be allowed to leave.
According to TransferMarketWeb, Monaco are looking to sign Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi and his arrival could pave way for Sidibe to join Chelsea.
Sidibe is valued at 18,00 Mill. € according to transfermarkt
