Aaron Ramsey is set to depart Arsenal this month after the club refused to extend his stay at the English outfit.
The Welshman is bracing to join Italian side Juventus over the January transfer window.
Talks of a five-year deal was reported to have been agreed by both Ramsey’s representatives and the Bianconeri.
However, that has not be sounded out by Arsenal. Outlets are lifting stories of Arsenal’s reluctance to let him leave in January.
But we understand that Juventus are planning to meet with the player’s representatives as they remain hopeful they can land him inside this month.
Juventus are willing to offer Ramsey 6.5 million euros a year, over the next five years. But they have been halted in their moves to land the admired midfielder, who Arsenal have slapped a steep fee of 22 million euros on his shirt.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport revealed that Ramsey’s agent are hopeful Arsenal can offer the star at a knock down fee.
Ramsey has scored 61 goals in 353 appearances for Arsenal since joining the English club in 2008 from Cardiff City.
