Yannick Carrasco prefers joining Arsenal over Manchester United after the Gunners made known their interest in him, per reports.
Until his surprise move to Dalian Yifang in the Super League of Chinese in the February of 2018, Carrasco was one of the standout players of Atletico Madrid. His ability to run with the ball and find space makes him an asset to his club.
The Gunners boss Unai Emery reveal that he will be active in this market for the signing of a defender and a player that can fit on the wing.
Although Arsenal are linked with a move to Barcelona’s Denis Suarez, they have contacted the representative of Carrasco over a potential move to Arsenal.
The 25-year-old Belgian is also heavily linked with a move to Manchester United but reports in Italy have revealed that he would prefer a move to the Emirates.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Danny Welbeck are currently banjaxed with injuries, with the latter ruled out of the season. Arsenal are looking for more options on their flank and Carrasco could be their man.
The report in Italy also claim : “…the future of Yannick Carrasco could be in the Premier League. In fact, there was already a first contact between the leaders of the Gunners, which would be the preferred destination of the player of Dalian Yifang.”
He is also linked with a move to AC Milan and he is valued at £18m.
