Forget Sanchez: Arsenal to agree deal for €50m-rated 11-goals in 12-games Chelsea target

There is usually a transfer tussle between the top guns of the Premier league when the transfer window is opened. With the January transfer window already coming thick, the English giants are showing interest on similar players.

Argentina international and Inter Milan forward is on the transfer radar of Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, this is according to report.

Icardi has been on the transfer radar of Arsenal since the penultimate summer, to the point that his wife who doubles as his manager was spotted sometime in London. And it was speculated that she tried to brokered a deal with the Gunners for the star.

However, according to Talksports, Bayern Munich have entered the race and they are keen on replacing transfer bound Robert Lewandowski with the South-American. Lewandowski is on the radar of Real Madrid and a deal could be sealed for him in January.

While Bayern Munich are linked, Arsenal are favourites for the players signature. The Gunners are resigned to losing Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, with Wenger already looking to sign Icardi as a replacement for Sanchez. Icardi is understood to be willing to play in the EPL.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen on a deal for the star but he is unlikely to command a starting shirt in the Blues’ squad and so, he is most likely to prefer a move to North LOndon with Arsenal.

Icard has been in blistering form this term – he has scored 11 goals and provided an assist in 12 Seria A games.

He is valued at 50,00 Mill. € according to transfermarkt.
