After a disappointing loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri did not abate in his anger over his team’s mishap, pelting them heavily with harsh criticisms over their indecent play.
It is without reason therefore, that the Blues need to take quick big steps in signing more quality recruits in the window, despite Sarri still holding out on his decision to bring in new targets.
The Italian’s focus is from the middle of the park, down to the attacking third.
Though he’s suggested more work needs to be put in by the players after their disgraceful showoff on Saturday at Wembley, he could joggle his options in the market, and make a good pick.
Real Madrid’s Isco won’t be a bad choice, and as a matter of fact will fit into the Italian’s style of play.
Chelsea have already been credited with a bid for the star according to the Express. Isco is really not quite delivering the goods at the moment under new boss Santiago Scolari. And their relationship is said to have reached tensed levels.
With Chelsea just in the block, and already keen, he could provide more boost for the club, but it remains to be seen if Chelsea can convincingly argue down a deal for the star with Real Madrid.
