Forget Higuain: £50m striker will snub Tottenham to join Chelsea
Chelsea have received a huge boost in their search for a transfer after reports emerging reveal Callum Wilson will snub Tottenham Hotspur for the Blues.
Alvaro Morata is on the cusp of joining Sevilla on a loan spell until the end of the season and the Blues are preparing to table a £50million bid to Bournemouth, this is in a bid to sign Wilson as his replacement.
Wilson enjoying barnstorming form in the Premier League this season, where he has scored nine goals in 16 games. His good form has been noticed by some of the top clubs in Europe including Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Tottenham and Chelsea, per the Independent.
The report have claimed Wilson prefers a move to Chelsea over Spurs. The Blues are in search of a striker and they have been heavily linked with a move to Higuain. They may need to look no further as Wilson, who needs no time to adapt can join up.
Another option for Chelsea is to recall Michy Batshuayi but it appears that Sarri does not believe in the abilities of the Belgian star.
Wilson is not a big name as the fans of Chelsea would want but he may come good at Stamford Bridge if he’s signed.
