French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has completed his move to join Italian outfit AC Milan this summer.
The deal includes a 35 million pounds purchasing option, should the Rossoneri consider making his buy permanent.
The 23-year-old role on the field has been questioned by plenty of fans who feel the 40 million pounds splurged on his transfer from AS Monaco to Stamford Bridge, was a huge mistake.
Bakayoko enjoyed starting roles under former boss Antonio Conte during his second stretch in charge of the west London club.
Although his first competitive games for Chelsea since joining 12 months ago gave hints of a promising career at Chelsea, Bakayoko has seen a huge dip in his performance for the top-tier club.
Head coach Maurizio Sarri hinted he was going to axe some players after taking the wheel of affairs from fellow compatriot Antonio Conte last month.
Having joined the Rossoneri on Tuesday, the French midfielder will be unveiled to the media in a conference officially on Friday August 17th.
Bakayoko also expressed his gratitude to the club for picking him up, and including him in their ranks this summer.
He thanked AC Milan “for believing in me” after completing his move from parent club Chelsea.
Bakayoko won the French Ligue One with Monaco in 2017 and then the FA Cup with Chelsea last season.
