Fabregas benched, Kante starts in probable Chelsea 3-4-2-1 formation vs West Brom
The Blues will be crowned Premier League kings if we beat West Bromwhich Albion at the Hawthorns this night.
After taking over the helms of Chelsea’s, Antonio Conte led Chelsea to an impressive start to life at Stamford Bridge – he won his first three games in the League but suffered defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal in September last year.
The Italian tactician tweaked his formation and team after those defeats and the Blues enjoyed a 13-game winning streak in the League, proving their title credentials. Ever since, Chelsea have remained atop of the League table and on the verge of winning the League.
Knowing well that Hawthorns is a difficult ground to play, Conte is expected to play his strongest possible side that have enjoyed a barnstorming season thus far. He will retain the 14 players that have play all through this campaign.
The Blues will have N’golo Kante, who missed the Middlesbrough win through a thigh injury. He will reclaim his place along Matic or Fabregas in midfield. Hazard and Costa will be expected to lead the attack.
Meanwhile, the Baggies have lost four of their last five Premier League games while we have won four of our last five. On paper, our form in the League leaves us as favorite for the win tonight but this is the Premier League where surprises abound.
We expect Chelsea to be switched on for the entire duration of the game so as to safe us the stress of seeing the last two games. But this is how we’ll line-up.
