Antonio Valencia has decided to see out his contract with Manchester United even if the club refuse to trigger the one-year extension clause in his deal, according to reports.’
Valencia has become out-of favour at United since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Although the Ecuadorian has set his sight at retiring at United, the antics of the club does not suggest they want to hand him a new deal, The Times are reporting.
His current deal will expire at the end of his season but the Red Devils have an option to extend his deal by a year till 2020.
Inter Milan and West Ham are said to be monitoring his situation and they are likely to take advantage of it to lure him to their respective sides. However, the report claims the 33-year-old wants to play more for United.
He joined Manchester United from Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2009, and he has had a successful career with United ever since.]
Although he has had spells on the sideline due to injuries but Ashley Young is preferred for the right full back position.
