Kylian Hazard could axe his contract at Chelsea which spans until 2020, when the Blues could lose him on a free.
The 23-year-old, Eden Hazard’s younger brother, who joined the Blues from Hungarian outfit Úlpest last summer, will discuss about his future, after revealing his intentions to remain at Stamford Bridge for another year.
“They send me messages and information with tips and things that were good and less good. I remain the property of Chelsea. It is my intention that I stay for one year and then we will discuss the future,” the attacking midfielder said.
Kylian’s start to life in the Premier League hasn’t been all rosy, and has failed to hold down a spot at the west London outfit since joining in 2017.
Unlike his elder brother Eden Hazard, who is the pride of the London outfit, the same cannot be said about Kylian who was shipped out of the Premier League to play for Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan deal.
Kylian’s contract runs down in 2020, just like Hazard’s current deal at the outfit, however it is unlikely he could get a call-up into Sarri’s first team given his average display so far for Brugge.
Since joining Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan deal, he has made only five starts for the Belgian outfit, and has netted just once for the club.
Gossips peddled around in news outlets about his exit from Chelsea earlier this year, talks that eventually turned out to be false when he penned down a new two-year deal with Chelsea.
Nonetheless, Chelsea have continued to keep tabs on the attacking midfielder and the 23-year-old confirmed they have been helpful with tips to help him stay ahead in the game.
