Emerging news: Denis Suarez to Arsenal ‘full and economic agreement’ reached

Denis Suarez has featured prominently on the transfer reports of Arsenal this month. All is now set for the Spanish playmaker to seal a move with Arsenal, according emerging reports.

Following the arrival of Kevin Prince Boateng from Sassuolo, Barcelona are now working on the release of Suarez to Arsenal, claims Mundo Deportivo.

The reports states that there is already ‘full and economic agreement’ for the player’s move to Arsenal and the deal is expected to be sealed later today.

The midfielder will join Arsenal on a six month loan spell, which will see the Gunners pay a paltry  €2m to the Catalonia side. However, Arsenal want the option of signing him on a permanent basis in the summer but that is still being negotiated between both clubs.

Barcelona are said to want the Gunners to sign the player on a permanent deal at the end of his temporary move but Arsenal, apparently, do not have the funds to commit to his move.

Unai Emery has said they can only sign players on loan this winter and it appears that he may not get any reasonable transfer budget in the summer.

Suarez is further down the selection pecking order of Ernesto Valverde and if he is not sold this window, they may not get good value for him at the end of the season.

The deal is expected to be completed shortly.
