Premier League Champions Chelsea FC could be in a shock move for Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko this summer as they have reportedly reach an agreement with Serie A club Roma for the player’s switch to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season according to reports emanating from Spanish media outlet El Gol Digital.
The Blues reportedly made a move to re-sign the former Manchester City forward in January after loaning Michy Batshuayi to Borussia Dortmund, but they were unable to complete the deal before the end of the transfer period. According to Daily Mirror via El Gol Digital, the Blues board are now set to offer an improved offer for his signature when the summer transfer window begins.
Having seen the club’s most expensive player Alvaro Morata flops throughout this season, Chelsea are now hoping to bolster their attacking threat next summer by bringing Dzeko to Stamford Bridge. The striker has been in awesome form for the Serie A side this season, he has scored 13 goals, and assisting three in just 28 league matches so far this season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea fans are hoping to see Real Madrid striker Isco in the team ahead of next season. The Spaniard has been in form for the Los Blancos throughout the campaign but he could be heading out of Santiago Bernabeu as the Spanish giants hope to overhaul their squad so as to bring new players into the team.
