Eden Hazard is on the radar of Real Madrid but he has reveal he could sign a contract extension deal with the Blues as he is happy, per reports.
Following the uncertainty surrounding the managerial position of Chelsea, Hazard had sounded out a transfer warning to the Blues and he was heavily tipped to lace his boots for Les Merengues.
Courtois resumed training with Chelsea in the summer and handed a transfer request. Even though Hazard has laid bare his desire to play for Madrid, he has assured the fans of his commitment to stay put and only move if the Blues agrees.
Hazard has been in blistering form for Chelsea since the start of the season and he has lavished plaudits on Maurizio Sarri, whose style has led them to the top of the Premier league log with Liverpool and Manchester City.
“I think he is a great manager. When you play football, you want to play for these kinds of managers because the way he wants us to play is the way that I want to play.
“We had some great results in the past so I can’t say that the managers before weren’t good, but I think in terms of football and the way we are playing, yes, this is the best football since I have been at Chelsea.
“A lot of pass and move. Then we also have good players in our team so that’s why we are playing this great football.”
“So I am just thinking about this season. I want to win something with him and then we will think about what happens at the end of the season but now, in my head, it is just play and enjoy football then try to win the games.”
Sarri has built his style on ball retention and attacking football, a divorce from what was the norm since Mourinho was incharge of the club and this suit Hazard perfectly.
He revealed why he wants to stay put at Chelsea.
“What might make me stay? I am happy and I don’t need anything. It is not trophies. Of course, when you play, you want to win but I just want to enjoy things on the pitch, like I am at the moment. Then I am happy.”
