Eden Hazard sends message to Chelsea fans about FA Cup

Eden Hazard has called for unity among his teammates so as to salvage the season of the club, this is according to report.

Chelsea have been unable to defend the title in which they won in Conte’s debut season and their chances of Champions League qualification is now bleak following their draw with West Ham United last Sunday.

Reliable Spanish defender Ceaser Azpilicueta found the back of the net but former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez canceled out the goal to earn the Hammers a point.

The fan base of Chelsea were thrown into unhappiness after the draw and they were found booing the players, with Antonio Conte now heavily tipped to leave the club at the end of the season.

Much has been expected of Hazard but he has failed to step up his game in the last six fixtures of the Blues. The attacker spoke after the game on Chelsea’s official website and said:

‘When you see the game we did everything, especially in the first half. ‘This season isn’t going well, we made some mistakes and conceded a goal. Then, in front of goal we didn’t score, so that’s it, at the end of the game it’s 1-1 and we are all sad.

‘We need to work together. There are six games left to play in the league and we will try everything to be in the top four at the end of the season.’

Chelsea are in fifth position on the Premier League log but they are 10 points adrift Tottenham in fourth position. However, Hazard believes they can end in fourth place as he further said:

“I hope, for the Chelsea fans and ourselves, that we can achieve something.

‘We still have the FA Cup to play for so we need to bring this trophy to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. ‘When you play for Chelsea you want to be in the Champions League every year but last year we didn’t play in it and we won the title, so sometimes a bad thing can create a good thing, but we will play [to try to qualify] for the Champions League, for sure.’
