Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has reportedly told Real Madrid he will never feature in Antonio Conte’s team.
Following the sack of Julen Lopetugui after 14 matches in charge, the capital club are now in the market for a new coach.
Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and former Gunners boss Arsene Wenger have both been touted as possible recruits. However, Italian manager Antonio Conte has won appealed the Madrid directors more than Wenger.
Consequently, the UEFA Champions League winners are considering bringing the former Juventus coach to the Spanish capital as they look to revive a horrible season.
Having been a long time coming, Hazard moves nearer to a Madrid switch, and he has reportedly told the big figures at the club that he will “never” play for Antonio Conte. The Belgian who was phenomenal for the Blues in Conte’s first season in charge doesn’t want to be managed by the Italian tactician anymore.
It is believed that the major reason for such statement is that Conte asked too much defensive duties of the attacker in the 2016/17 season, limiting his attacking prowess. Under new coach Maurizio Sarri, Hazard has been in incredible form as the present Chelsea boss doesn’t demand much defensive work from the 27-year-old.
