€60m bid tabled: club make offer for Chelsea pacey target, United linked

Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa is stealing headlines and grabbing attention and reports bandying about say the Chelsea target is wanted by Serie A powerhouse Juventus.

SportMediaset says the Serie A champs, who signed Real Madrid star Ronaldo this summer, have lodged a 60 million euros bid for the promising talent.

It is understood Premier League outfit Chelsea are heads over heels for the star.

Manchester United are reportedly said to have joined the tray, sparking fierce rivalry for the star.

Serie A outfits Napoli and Inter are not excluded in the hot pursuit. But Napoli are tipped as favourites to land the 20-year-old.

Napoli is understood to have a good relationship with Fiorentina and the Italian outfit have reportedly handpicked the Naples club as Chiesa’s destination.

Chelsea already signed Mateo Kovacic on loan, Jorginho, and Kepa Arrizabalaga this season. The second half of the 2018-19 Premier League season is gradually moving through gears, and adding more fuel to the flames in the Blues tactics is the only right direction Sarri can go.

Juve and Chelsea will slug it out for the player’s services, however, Chelsea have the higher spending power and could topple over the Old Lady in the two-legged horse race for Chiesa in January.
