It appears that Columbia international and Real Madrid attacking midfielder is resigned in jumping the ship from the Santiago Bernabeu to Old Trafford as he aims to rekindle his blighted career.
According to Diario Gol, James Rodriguez has informed Los Blancos that he wants out of the Club and he has decided to that his next stop in career is Manchester United.
The star has been a subject of transfer speculation to Old Trafford since the January transfer window. The appointment of Zinedane Zidane saw him lost his place in the first team of the Club and he is certain not to breakthrough as long as Zidane continue in the reigns of the Club.
The report claims that Rodriguez has informed the President of Madrid Florentino Perez that he will steer unrest at the Club if he isn’t not allowed to move to Manchester United.
Man United boasted of one of the best defenses in the Premier League last term but the show-off of their attack left so much to be desired. Rodriguez has the ability to make the strikers of Man United score more goals with his inch-perfect passes.
United are also keen on Alvaro Morata, who is tops the target of Jose Mourinho. It would be a tad difficult for Madrid to sell two of their players to Man United. However, if United can sign both players, it will be a huge boost for our squad.
James Rodriguez is valued at €50m.
