The Reds have been head over heels with Salah and they lined him up at the top of the transfer targets . However, Klopp had offered £28 m for the player which was rebuffed by the Seria A side. Roma are reportedly holding out for £40m for the player.
Salah, 25, seems to want a move as he has agreed personal terms to move to Anfield, claims the report. But the completion of the deal is subject to an agreement in sign-on fee between Liverpool and Roma.
The Mugsmashers will table an improve bid of €45m (£39.3m) for Salah, which will be Liverpool’s highest in their history. It is believed that the offer would be accepted as Roma look to balance their books due to the financial fair play rule.
There has been a debate as to where Salah would fit in in the squad of Liverpool. Mane plays from the right wing, while Coutinho plays from the left and Salah is a natural Winger. Klopp may move Coutinho to the middle or play Salah in the CF position.
