€30m-rated in-demand winger wants long-term Man United career

Anthony Martial appear not to be interested in leaving Manchester United and has decided to stay at the club despite reports linking him with a summer move away from Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old saw limited playing time last season following a drop in form and consistency, and there were reports that he could be on his way out of Man United this summer, though he has severally debunked such claims.

The France international has also been linked with a loan move to Inter Milan following reports that he could be used in a swap deal to bring Ivan Perisic to Old Trafford with Jose Mourinho desperate to sign a winger this summer.

However, according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, Martial wants to continue his career in the Premier League and has rejected a move to Inter Milan.

Martial came off the bench to score a goal and assisted another in United’s 4-0 thrashing of West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Tottenham are also reported to be interested in the attacking winger but have their offer of £25 million rejected during the weekend.

In another news, Mourinho is said to be highly keen on signing a left-back, this is according to journalist Duncan Castles, with Tottenham’s Danny Rose said to be high on his transfer list.

“Jose Mourinho is now prioritising a left-back as a way of solving some very obvious weaknesses in his squad going into his second Premier League campaign. And Danny Rose is one of the candidates for that position”, Castles said.

According to transfermarkt, Martial is valued at 30,00 Mill. €.
