The transfer window has little less than two weeks before it is closed and Chelsea prepare to wave goodbye to some of its players.
With Maurizio Sarri steering the west London outfit, the Italian has sounded out he would not be needing some players this campaign or at all, to free up some space at the club. Understandably, that would take some of them of Chelsea wage bill.
Nigeria international and flanker Victor Moses has been identified as one of the players set to leave Stamford Bridge this month.
Moses has yet to feature in any cup competition for Chelsea since Sarri was placed at the helm. Despite making great contributions last campaign under Conte, the Nigerian attacker has taken a sudden hit to the ground at Stamford Bridge.
Davide Zappacosta, joins the talented but forgotten Moses. The defender has struggled to hold a spot in Chelsea’s defence and will be axed by Chelsea this month. Blues are looking to hammer out a good deal for the defender at Lazio, who are interested in bringing him over on loan this season.
Moses and Zappacosta have failed to connect the dots in Sarri’s style of play and the Italian has made it clear by withdrawing both players from his team.
