Good news for Manchester United as Amiens rising star Noam Emeran appear to have confirmed he will seal a move to the fortress of Old Trafford despite interest from Juventus and Paris Saint Germain, per reports.
French publication L’Equipe, reported towards the close of last year that the France U16 star would seal a move to Man United. He had impressed the scouts of United who had been keeping close tabs on him.
The deal did not pull through at that time but now all is set for him to seal a dream move to United. The Red Devils will only pay a training compensation fee of £88k and he will complete the move at the end of the month.
Emeran spoke with Courrier Picard and said: “After talking to my family, I think it was the best choice over what I was offered to help reach the top level.
“Now it’s up to me to do the job to achieve my goals and dreams.”
The youngster is recently remembered for netting a hatrick in a youth tournament in France dubbed as Coupe Gambardella.
He has laid bare his admiration for some attackers including Man City winger Leroy Sane.
“I have no model player in the [Amiens] first-team, but I really like the style of Gael Kakuta,” he told the club’s official website.
“More generally, I admire Leroy Sane.
“My ambition is to be able to be professionally one day and to win titles, but school remains the most important thing for now If there is no school, there is no football.”
