Done: Good news for Man United as Spanish mega star agree to sign deal

Spanish glovesman and Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea is willing to stay put at United after a torbid campaign under former boss Jose Mourinho.

After crisis broke at Old Trafford following the burst between Mourinho and his players, Manchester United was ripping apart, and De Gea was bursting at the seams to leave.

Offers had poured in for the goalkeeper, it was understood. And United already had a deal in the bag to keep the star with them. But it had looked crystal De Gea was unhappy at the club and was stalling to pen a new deal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was handpicked after United’s chiefs decided to part ways with Mourinho following the long run of poor results and rife that had threatened to stain the club.

The Norwegian has gotten United back in the race for the title and are few paces off fourth place Chelsea.

De Gea was the difference between Manchester United and Tottenham during their weekend clash, where Marcos Rashford’s lone goal separated both sides.

De Gea is ready to commit his future at United as spilled out by the Daily Mirror.

And rumours from the rumour mill says Solskjaer had been the convincing factor here, after pleading with the Spaniard to accept an extension from United.
