Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay has penned a new four-and-a-half year deal with Manchester United.
United officially dropped the news about the 22-year-old inking his name on the new deal yesterday.
United have a new caretaker manager at the helm after unsuccessful spells under three different manager since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United put in few extra pounds in the bag for the 22-year-old.
McTominay has seen his wage upped from the 25,000-per-week formerly offered to him by United, to 30,000-per-week.
The midfielder will trouser around 7 million pounds until June 2023.
United are gradually clawing back after a woeful experience this term during Mourinho’s era. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has brought with him not just an antidote that has calmed the fierce atmosphere at Old Trafford, but has managed to string the side back together.
Tominay has not been too excellent for United at the middle of the park this season, despite being labelled by the boss as a valuable figure to his side.
Nonetheless, with this new deal, perhaps he can hit a few marks higher up in the profession. The 22-year-old has featured 33 times so far for Manchester United in all competitions this term.
