While Liverpool step-up preparation for the upcoming season in their pre-season tour, Jurgen Klopp has a sight in the transfer window and on his squad.
Liverpool goalkeeper Ryan Fulton has completed a permanent switch to Hamilton, reports Skysports.
Fulton is a Liverpool academy graduate who joined the Club in 2007 and has represented the Club at the U-10 levels and ascended the grades of the Club.
His first call up for the Reds senior team was in their pre-season of 2015 when they toured Asia. He was third in the selection pecking order to Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan.
The 21-year-old shot-stopper is yet to feature for the senior team of Liverpool but he spent the penultimate and last season on loan at Porthsmouth and Chesterfield, where he featured regularly.
Confirming the report, Liverpool released an official statement on their site and sent their wishes to the player.
“Liverpool FC wishes Ryan the best of luck in his future career,”
Simon Mignolet is expected to continue in-between the sticks for Liverpool next season and this leaves no chance for Ryan Fulton. Bogdan should play second fiddle to Mignolet.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Paris Saint Germain target Philippe Coutinho will not be leaving Anfield this summer. The Reds have also agreed a fee for Hull’s Andrew Robertson.
