Chelsea are on the cusp of agreeing a loan move for Alvaro Morata but they will not let the striker leave without signing a striker in his stead and player appears to be Higuain.
Sarri is very well familiar with Higuain during his time at Napoli. The 31-year-old striker enjoyed the form of his life where he scored 36 league goals in 35 games, all coming under Sarri.
The Blues have played Hazard in an unfamiliar striker role but if they must qualify for the Champions League, buying a striker in this window is a must.
