Scott McTominay has sign a contract extension deal with Manchester United, this is according to reports.
McTominay is one of the break out stars of the prestigious Man United academy. Under Mourinho, he featured sparingly for the Red Devils but he has not done enough to convince new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he deserves a place in the team.
He has been heavily linked with a move away from the club on a loan spell, with Celtic said to be lurking in on a possible move for him. However, the injury sustained by Marouane Fellaini has left the squad of United a tad thin in midfield and Solskjaer has ruled out a possible transfer of the player this month.
“Manchester United has been my life since the age of five and playing for the club I’ve always supported is all I’ve ever wanted to do,” he said.
“I’m still young and I’m learning all the time from the manager, his coaching staff and from the world-class players in the squad.
”I can’t wait to continue my progress at this great club.“
The Scottish star has featured for United twice under Solskjaer and he has always showed glimpses of quality. He is adept an reading the game and his ability to maintain a good position makes him rare.
Solskjaer added: “Scott has been with the club from a very young age, he has progressed through our Academy ranks and has made fantastic progress in the last couple of years.
