Manchester United and Juventus have reached an agreement for the transfer of Matteo Darmian, according to reports.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed his squad is strong enough to compete , hence, no need for new signings at the club. However, the Red Devils have quite a chunk of their players on the exit radar,.
Darmian, who joined Manchester United from Torino in the summer of 2015, is currently out-of-favour at United. He has been restricted to only five bit-part appearances in the League this season.
He laid bare his desire to leave United in the summer but despite offers made for by the Old Lady, he has stayed put at the fortress of Old Trafford.
And now, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via the Metro) claims an agreement is now in place for the player’s transfer. He will join the Old Lady on a six months loan deal that is said to be worth €3-4 million over the duration of his move.
Diogo Dalot, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia have all emerged as favourites for the right full back position, leaving Darmian out of the first team.
