French defender Billy Koumetio has been added to the Liverpool’s shortlist of new academy players.
The defender joins the likes of Ki Jana who signed from Ajax in the summer and goalscoring machine Bobby Duncan who has been impressing for the Reds since moving in from Manchester City last year.

Koumetio has been impressing for the Premier League leaders since joining from French second division side US Orleans.
The youngster will hope to climb up the ranks soon, after being pegged to play for the Reds under-16 side.
Koumetio has already played a few number of friendlies and the young lad with his fine deliveries so far, could notch upward and make a statement in the first team.
Liverpool have yet to sign any first team player so far, with Jurgen Klopp putting down suspicions he is going bring in more players.
Reds have been hit by injury crisis at the back, but somehow have managed to keep their heads up high in the Premier League.
Liverpool are on a four-point cushion, ahead of Premier League holders Manchester City.
