Done deal: €25m star agree Arsenal move as first January signing

Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez has reportedly reached an agreement with Arsenal over a potential move.

Arsenal are in the market to bolster their defence and attacker, and they have been heavily attracted to out-of-favour Barcelona star, Suarez.

The 25-year-old Spaniard has struggled to get into the first team of Ernesto Valverde and he wants out of the club in order to get regular game time.

He can play as a creative midfielder or a winger, making him a perfect fit for the Gunners who are set to be without Aaron Ramsey.

According to emerging reports  from Sport the midfielder has said to a move to Arsenal, where he will reunite with his former Sevilla boss Unai Emery.

The report went further to claim that all that’s now left is for both clubs to agree a transfer fee over his move.

Arsenal wanted to broker a loan deal for the player with the option of signing him for €25m at the end of the season but Barcelona are looking at selling him for €20m but with a compulsory purchase clause in the deal for the same amount.

The contract of the player runs out in 2020, which leaves Barcelona with no choice than to cash in on him now.
