Done deal? Chelsea to announce transfer of power striker

West Ham have considered lining up a move to sign Chelsea Belgian striker Mitchy Batshuayi this month.

Transfer activities has picked up so much steam, and many goings and comings have been recorded massively in the Premier League. First, it was Chelsea who broke the bank to sign Christian Pulisic, north of 50 million pounds, and other clubs have suit.

Now doing the rounds is West Ham pursuit for oblivious player Batshuayi.

The media has been fanning the flames, and even adding more sticks to the claim that Hammers want to sign the striker before the window closes tomorrow.

Batshuayi has had a torrid loan spell at Valencia since joining the side at the start of the season. The Spanish side are looking to farm the youngster out due to his flagging performance.

Batshuayi has failed to justify the loan fee splashed on his head by Valencia.

He is candy for West Ham who are keened on bolstering their attack, says Sky Sports. The Hammers have also lined up a 44 million pounds which is still in the works, for Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, and while the striker has been given the clear by the Spanish side, he will not join the Premier League side until the summer.

Meanwhile, Hammers could lose Lucas Pérez to Real Betis who could see their 3.5 million pounds bid accept for the frontman.

  1. Why does chelsea insist on getting rid of good strikers one after another instead of trying to pair a couple up at the front, griezman or any good poacher is badly needed and has been for a long time we sign great aerial strikers and wingers feeding an empty box time and time again it’s so obvious it would also keep the opposition on the back foot .
