Leeds United are ready to bring on Chelsea academy product Jamaal Blackman between the sticks, on a season-long deal ahead of the new campaign.
Jamaal Blackman, 24, has agreed to join Leeds United on a season-long loan. An agreement has been reached for the shot-stopper to move to Elland Road.
The 24-year-old’s move to Leeds United would be his fifth spell out on loan for Chelsea.
Blackman is yet to make a first team start for the west Londoners and offering him to other clubs seem only the best way to keep his form in check.
Blackman spent the previous season on loan at Sheffield United. He’s spent short stints at Swedish outfit Ostersunds and English side Wycombe and Middlesbrough.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have parted company with Italian manager Antonio Conte as revealed in an official statement by the club this morning.
But, the decision to let him go was concluded on Thursday afternoon.
Chelsea wrote on their official website: “During Antonio’s time at the club, we won our sixth league title and eighth FA Cup,’ Chelsea wrote on their official website.
“In the title winning season, the club set a then-record 30 wins in a 38-game Premier League season, as well as a club-record 13 consecutive league victories.
“We wish Antonio every success in his future career.”
Sarri is expected to take the helm at the Premier League club after signing a three-year deal with the FA Cup champions.
