Denis Suárez has been told he’s free to leave the Camp Nou, after falling down the pecking order and out-of-favour under Ernesto Velverde this term.
The 24-year-old Spain international is a primary target for Chelsea. Maurizio Sarri is keen on stretching the depth of his squad and Saurez is on top of the Blues January shortlist of midfielders they are eyeing in the transfer market.
The 24-year-old has struggled to make the cut under Velverde this term, and he is reportedly angling for a move away from the club in January.
The midfielder reps have confirmed the Spaniard is available and have informed Premier League side Arsenal about his availability, despite Chelsea being keen.
The Independent claims Barcelona will let go of Suárez at a cut-rate fee in the region of 14 million pounds.
Ramsey will be out of contract at the end of the season and Arsenal has rebuffed a new deal for the Welshman.
Landing Suárez has been put into consideration by Arsenal who are keen to replace Ramsey when he leaves the club next year.
Saurez has also enjoyed a previous spell at La Liga outfit Sevilla in 2014-15 season, where he was tutored by Unai Emery.
